Tan Lan Cottage is set in the beautiful Conwy valley inside the Snowdonia National Park. We are just 1 mile from the historic market town of Llanrwst so it is possible to walk home after a few drinks at night on a footpath without the need for a taxi.. There is a train station in Llanrwst so if you do not have a car you can still get around. Great walks and rambles start right on the doorstep. For those of us who are less energetic there is great shopping in the local town and we are only 10 miles from the medieval walled town of Conwy and the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno.

This 200 year old cottage with its thick stone walls, beamed ceilings and open fires is an ideal location to enjoy everything this area of North Wales has to offer.

The popular town of Betws y Coed is only 4 miles away and is a mecca for climbers, walkers, canoeists and all outdoor pursuits. For the more serious mountain bikers the 25 kilometre 'Marin Trail' starts just outside Llanrwst.

The cottage is comfortably and tastefully decorated and furnished throughout and comes complete with a large utility/laundry/dry room with washing machine, ideal for coping with the muddy boots and wet weather gear.

The lounge has an inglenook fireplace with a log burner. There is a flat screen TV with a selection of DVDs and a Sony playstation with a large collection of games for all ages. The lounge also has two comfortable leather bed settees. The kitchen has a very cosy feel with an open fire. There is a dining table with 6 chairs, an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee machine.

Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms, 1 with a kingsize leather bed and 1 with twin leather beds. There is a family bathroom upstairs as well as a cloakroom downstairs.

Central heating and electricity is all included and all towels and bedlinen are provided.

Young children are well catered for with a big wooden chest full of toys and plenty of books and games.Older children may prefer the playstation with a selection of games and films.

Outside there is an elevated garden and BBQ area with great views of the Conwy Valley.
There is off-road parking for 2 cars as well as ample parking on the lane.
The cottage sits on a quiet lane which has a footpath and cycle lane into Llanrwst.

On your arrival there will be a complimentary welcome pack and a supply of coal and logs.
