Kersworthy Bower is a luxurious, spacious, secluded holiday retreat for family and friends to escape and unwind. It is ideally located down a private drive, surrounded by open fields and glorious countryside, yet just eight miles from the north Cornish coast with its fabulous stretches of golden sands.

With traditional Cornish exposed stone walls and slate floors, the cottage was newly restored in 2010 and refurbished to a very high standard. It provides excellent facilities with six bedrooms, large lounge, large kitchen / diner, a second living rooom, large entrance hall/boot room, 2 beautiful contemporary bathrooms, downstairs cloakroom, utility room, two staircases and an external games room. French doors lead from the main living room to a large patio area with steps to extensive lawned gardens of approx 3/4 acre. Far-reaching views across tree-lined fields and gentle hills make this an ideal place to relax and enjoy the spectacular sunsets. The two staircases leading to separate bedroom areas make the cottage perfect for two families holidaying together as both can enjoy their own privacy.

The cottage is well equipped with all mod cons, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, gas range cooker, 2 x large flat screen Tv/DVD's, Playstation 3, large selection of indoor board games, childrens toys, and outdoor sport games. In the external games room there is a proper reconditioned pub pool table (on free play!) and darts board with bean bags, the chill out zone! BBQ and outdoor dining tables provided.

As of autumn 2011 we have an outdoor slide, swing, climbing frame set for children, and a five a side football pitch facility with regulation size goals in the extensive lawned garden.

The decor is simple, stylish and fresh. A tranquil environment after a busy day sightseeing.

The north Cornwall coast offers the perfect mix of wide sandy beaches and hidden coves. Widemouth Bay, famous for its excellent surfing, or Crackington Haven, a joy for rock pools and lazy afternoons, are just a short drive away.

The popular resort of Bude lies just 11 miles away and has an excellent range of shops and restaurants, many specialising in local seafood, along with a golf course, tennis, horse riding, indoor pool, bowling, fishing, mountain boarding and three more lovely sandy beaches.

Padstow with its harbour and seafood restaurants, Rock with its bars and sailing facilities and Port Isaac, the stunning quintessential Cornish fishing village, are only a little further away.

For a great day out, Crealy Adventure Park, Newquay Zoo and the famous Eden Project are all within easy driving distance.
