Office cottage (sleeps 2) is just a few meters from the river. A door from the kitchen leads to a small private garden with stepping stones down to the river. The Kitchen is behind a hidden door in the sitting room, There is an iron safe believed to be original. Also handmade wooden table and units and slate worktop.
Stables cottage (sleeps 4) is of granite stone in a secluded woodland valley setting. It is set back a little from the river and has its own private garden with cobbled paths and steps leading down to a mill leat. The cottage has traditional features of slate flagstones, wooden beams an open fire and a walk in larder as well as the modern convenience of fridge-freezer and dishwasher.
The villages of Stithians and Ponsanooth are about 1 mile away, both have a shop, post office and pub. There are watersports facilities at the nearby Stithians reservoir. There is a well stocked organic farm shop in the nearby village of Cusgarne.
The nearest beach is in Falmouth about 10 minutes drive, the city of Truro is about 9 miles.
