3 holiday lets sleeping from 2 to 4

Three lovely cottages nestled at the foot of the Howgill Fells near to the source of the River Lune. Each property has been tastefully converted from stone barns which are attached to our 17th century farmhouse.

Each cottage is totally self contained, fully furnished, heated by night storage heaters and the living areas feature radiant electric fires. The utility room has a washing machine, dryer and ironing board. Electricity, towels and bedlinen are included. A cot, high chair and buggy are available if required. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. A payphone is also available.

Moss Cottages all enjoy magnificent views and provide an excellent base for touring both the Dales National Park and the Lake District National Park. Our large well stocked gardens are available for your use. Short breaks available Nov – March.

NISTHOUSE - Sleeps 2

Nisthouse has an entrance on the ground floor and features a twin bedded room and bathroom. The first floor has an open plan lounge and a fully fitted kitchen/dining area. There are exits on both the upper and lower levels. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, a refrigerator and a microwave as well as a good range of cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery. The cottage also features television, a selection of games, night storage heaters, a radiant electric fire in the living room and electric blankets for the beds.

Nisthouse is not adapted for disabled persons. If accessibility is important please consider Curlew or Howgill.

CURLEW - Sleeps 4

Curlew is to be found on the lower level of the barn. It features a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a shower room and an open plan living room with kitchen and dining area. The twin bedroom features a washbasin and shaver point and there is also a shower room. The fully equipped kitchen features an electric oven and hob, refrigerator and microwave, a full range of cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery. The open plan living area has television/video/DVD and a radiant electric fire. Nnight storage heaters heat the property and electric blankets are supplied for all the beds.

HOWGILL - Sleeps 4

Howgill is to be found on the upper level of the barn but is accessed via a ramp making this lovely cottage totally accessible.

Howgill features a double and a twin bedroom with wash hand basin and shaver point. There is also a shower room and an open plan living area with adjoining kitchen which is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, refrigerator and microwave, a good range of cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery. The open plan living area has a television/video/DVD and a radiant electric fire. Electric blankets are supplied for the beds.
