Part of The Terrace, Windermere - a unique row of Three 4 star, grade II listed holiday homes Bannerrigg is conveniently secluded from the hustle of the town in private grounds. Designed by Pugin these houses are beautifully presented and as a result were awarded 'best contribution to the visual appearance to Windermere village' in 2008.

Bannerrigg is more spacious than our other properties which has allowed us to create 2 family rooms each sleeping 4 people which makes Bannerrigg the perfect group family property. The children particularly like bedroom 4 which has 4 single beds, a large TV and Sony Playstation2 and is found on the top floor so they can be in their own hideaway away from the adults.

Newly refurbished in 2007 the large kitchen features a gas-fired AGA, granite worksurfaces, microwave, American fridge freezer with icemaker and a table which seats 8 people - wonderful for those cooked Lake District breakfasts.

In the living room there are beautiful leather sofas and chairs which comfortably seat 16 people around a large open fire. There is also has a large flat screen TV, Sony Playstation2/DVD player with a small selection of PS2 games and a collection of DVDs. There's even a pianola which doubles up as a piano for those evening sing-songs.

Two large stone mullioned windows fill the dining room with sunlight which is furnished with a large table seating 14 (if you have friends staying at one of our other houses the table can easily accommodate up to 22) and a quality hifi with ipod dock.

The bedrooms are all spacious. The master bedroom and has an ensuite shower and toilet. Bedroom twp is the family room with a king-size bed and two day beds which double as sofas. Bedroom three has a king-size bed and two armchairs and there is a large bathroom on this floor. Bedroom four has 4 single beds and Bedroom five is a double. All the bedrooms have TVs and ipod alarms.

Outside, the house has two main garden areas with a lawned area to the front and to the rear there's a raised patio with teak table and chairs plus two sunloungers. The garden also features an 8 seat hot tub in it's own stone built building which is great to relieve those aching muscles after a walk!

At the front of Bannerrigg there is parking for up to 7 cars (although you'll have to park each other in).

Bannerrigg is the ideal locations for a group of families with up to 14 people or 12 friends to have a relaxing weekend break in Windermere.
