Part of The Terrace, Windermere - a unique row of Three 4 star, grade II listed holiday homes Boston House is conveniently secluded from the hustle of the town in private grounds. Designed by Pugin these houses are beautifully presented and as a result were awarded 'best contribution to the visual appearance to Windermere village' in 2008.

Boston House is tastefully decorated with tartan carpets and wallpaper in some rooms - it has a rather regal feel. The house boasts 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms (5 of them ensuite). so everyone gets their privacy.

Newly refurbished in autumn 2009 the large kitchen features solid oak units with Lakeland slate worksurfaces, 7 ring-burner - twin fan oven range cooker, 46 bottle wine cooler, two fridges, dishwasher and a microwave. It has 2 main areas one for food prep and one for cooking. The main room has a large central island unit with 8 oak stools. The perfect place to sit back with a glass of wine and watch your chef perform!

In the living room there are beautiful leather sofas and chairs which comfortably seat 14 people around a living flame gas fire. There is also a large flat screen TV, Sony Playstation2/DVD player cinema surround sound system and a small selection of PS2 games and a collection of DVDs.

The dining room is furnished with a large table and soft chairs seating 14. The room is bright and airy being lit by the sun shining through an impressive stone mullioned window. There's a ipod dock for your tunes.

In the cellar we have recently installed a 14 seat cinema, with fold down cinema seats, hi-def Blue-Ray projector and surround sound system. A great place to entertain the kids on a wet day!

On the first floor there are 2 rooms with 4 poster beds and one with a half-tester bed. There's also a twin bunk room. On the 2nd floor there are 2 twin rooms and a bedroom with a single and a double. Altogether that adds up to 15 bed spaces (although we're only allowed to advertise 14 because the dining room and lounge only have 14 seats).

To the rear of the house there's an enclosed courtyard with outside table and chairs, which is completely dog safe. To the front of the property there's parking for up to 6 cars.

Boston House is the ideal location for groups of families or friends with up to 15 people to have a relaxing break or cool party in Windermere.
