This beautiful 5 star cottage is situated on the side of a mountain, within a five-minute walk to the Lakeland village of Coniston. The village offers great country pubs and shops. It is a 10 minute walk to the lake where you can take a boat trip to Ruskins Brantwood.

The cottage is finished to a very high standard with oak beams and floors, log fire, leather sofa and chairs, dining for 6, flat screen TV and Bose CD/DVD home entertainment system, Shaker style kitchen with butlers sink, Smeg appliances, stable doors off 3 of the rooms, sleigh beds with Egyptian cotton bedding, a roll top bath in one bedroom and an en suite shower room in the other, fluffy towels and The White Company luxury toiletries and most importantly privacy, peace and quiet.

We provide logs, candles, linen and a luxury welcome hamper.

It is perfectly situated for walking, sailing, mountain climbing/cycling, horse riding or simply just relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. It has an enclosed private walled garden with amazing views of the fell with the Old Man Mountain, old coppermines, waterfalls and Bluebell wood on the doorstep. We offer a concierge service where we can book meals, baby sitting, spa treatments and pretty much what ever you wish.

No 1 Silverbank has been written about in many places including Red magazine, The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Mail on Sunday and soon to be in Easy Living magazine.

We get booked up around 3 - 6 months ahead apart from the odd short break or week.
