The Studio @ Croft Cottage is a luxury self contained annexe which is attached to the main building of Croft Cottage.
Set on the outskirts of the attractive, historical town of Appleby-in-Westmorland in the beautiful Eden Valley, Cumbria.

The Studio @ Croft Cottage is the ideal place to visit either the Lake District or North Pennines as well as having the facilities of an attractive small town within easy reach.

It is centrally heated and can accommodate up to two people. The downstairs bedroom has a de luxe king size bed, a 19inch flatscreen TV / DVD player and a modern en suite shower room.

Upstairs there is a large open-plan lounge / dining / kitchenette complete with a comfy sofa, dining table with leather chairs, pebble and flame effect electric fire, 32inch flatscreen Freeview TV, CD player and a mini kitchen. Free WiFi is also available throughout the studio.

Appliances include 2 ring halogen hob, combi microwave / fan oven / grill, fridge with freezer compartment and all the other kitchen utensils that you would expect in this standard of accommodation.

Outside, there is private parking at the front of Croft Cottage, which is approached from a narrow driveway.

From the Studio and garden there are views of Appleby Castle and also Lake District mountains in the distance. Just a few hundred yards away is the award winning Royal Oak Inn where high quality pub food is available.

Whether you crave an active, outdoor holiday or the peace and tranquillity of some of the UK‚s most beautiful countryside,The Studio at Croft Cottage is the place for you. With the fells of the Lake District and North Pennines within easy driving distance, there are plenty of opportunities for a challenging walk or two, or why not take a stroll along the River Eden, just a few minutes walk from the cottage? We also welcome cyclists who can explore the many cycle routes across the Pennines and Cumbria. Fishermen can use the River Eden (subject to local licences) or go to nearby Penrith where there are fishing lakes. If you‚re a golf lover, why not try your hand at the local course in Appleby?

The Studio at Croft Cottage is close to all of the amenities of Appleby, which include 2 small late-opening supermarkets, traditional butchers shops, greengrocer and bakery. There is aso a pharmacy, bank, post office, garage, numerous pubs, eateries and a Tourist Information Centre.

Appleby is well served by public transport and the scenic Settle to Carlisle railway passes through here at the beautifully maintained, characacterful station.
