Single holiday let sleeping up to 2 guests

Centrally located to explore both Devon and Cornwall, Lobhill Stable is just three miles from glorious Dartmoor. The cottage will accommodate two people with a large double (or twin) bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with bath and shower) and separate toilet room. A well equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer. The large living area offers space for dining and relaxing with TV, DVD player and radio/CD player.

Walkers and nature lovers will find a little bit of heaven on the door step. The 20 acre wood and surrounding farmland with the family's newly planted vineyard and Alder lake is wondrously peaceful, a paradise for bird watchers. There are also a number of superb walks on and around Dartmoor and many designated and planned routes locally such as The Two Castles Trail, a 24 mile walk between Okehampton and Launceston Castles. Lobhill Farmhouse is also close to the Sustrans National Cycling Network, Route 27 also known as the Devon Coast to Coast which includes the converted railway path, The Granite Way. About 30 minutes away is the Camel Trail at Padstow, one of the most popular recreational routes in the country, passing through the wooded countryside of the upper Camel Valley and alongside the picturesque Camel Estuary - a wildlife haven.

Tavistock, an ancient stannary town, is easily accessible, as are Plymouth and Exeter, offering many attractions such as theatres and shopping. There are many award winning restaurants and good local pubs nearby.

Generally bookings are made Friday to Friday but short breaks are available.
