Whether you are a large family celebrating a birthday or anniversary, a group of old friends organising a reunion weekend or searching for a venue for business meetings, management training and corporate events, this is a superb and unforgettable venue. The beautiful house and grounds are also perfect for weddings and can accommodate up to 80 guests in the house for a civil ceremony followed by a reception in a marquee on the lawns.

Dating from the 17th century, the house has undergone extensive refurbishment and is now a spacious, rural retreat. Original features include stone mullioned windows, huge fireplaces and exposed beams, and these are complemented by contemporary furnishings, clean lines and stylish décor.

The spacious and fully equipped kitchen is at the heart of the house and opens into the breakfast room with huge Inglenook fireplace and original slate floor. Sumptuous sofas and a large open fire are features of the beautiful oak panelled drawing room and a full size pool table offers evening entertainment. The dining room seats 20 round one table and catering can be arranged to suit - perhaps a celebratory dinner one evening; breakfast hampers containing locally produced sausages, bacon and eggs; or indeed full catering throughout your stay? The 10 bedrooms, all individually furnished, and 9 bathrooms, are finished to the highest specification, with powerful showers as standard. Crisp white linen on the beds and huge fluffy towels are provided.
