Marmaduke Cottage is a delightful Grade II listed terraced cottage located in the village of Sancton which is just a couple of miles from Market Weighton. The property is ideally placed for those wanting to discover the beauty of the Yorkshire Wolds with its pretty towns including Beverley and Pocklington.

This cosy cottage has been completely restored yet still retains many of its original features. The living room boasts a cast iron multi-fuel range fire, a beamed ceiling and a quarry tiled floor. The kitchen is decorated in a country style and boasts reclaimed pine cupboards, beamed ceiling, quarry tiled floor and a Belfast sink.

Steep stairs lead up to the two pretty bedrooms and a bathroom with shuttered windows and wooden panelling.(No Shower)

Outside the property is a small, picket fenced garden in which to sit and contemplate the pleasant views to the village church. For the more energetic, the Wolds Way long distance walk is nearby as well as many other footpaths and the nearby countryside also offers plenty of cycling opportunities. Market Weighton offers very good amenities including pubs, tea rooms and shops and York is just 20 miles distance making it well worth visiting. Nearby Beverley also has plenty to offer including a racecourse. The cottage also offers easy road access to the coast for the day at the seaside.

ACCOMMODATION

The sleeping accommodation consists of two bedrooms, one double and one single. A bathroom with bath, basin and WC. A fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with multi-fuel range.

AMENITIES

The cottage is heated by gas central heating with the additional heating from the multi-fuel range in the sitting room.

There is an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, radio, small selection of books, games and DVDs.

Fuel, power and starter pack for multi-fuel range is included in the rent. Extra fuel for multi-fuel range is available on an honesty box basis.

Bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Travel cot and highchair on request.

There is off-road parking for one car plus additional roadside parking available on a first come, first served basis.

Bike shed. Enclosed rear garden with patio and furniture.
