Situated above the Strathearn Valley, Blairmore Farm has one of the most picturesque and breathtaking south facing views of highland landscapes in Scotland. Blairmore Wester Cottage nestles into the hill surrounded by beautiful countryside in a peaceful and tranquil environment. The newly restored four bedroomed spacious cottage has been elegantly and sympathetically furnished and as a result has a very traditional Scottish character and charm throughout. The fully centrally heated accommodation comprises of four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms two with large showers and one with a bath. The bedrooms comprise of two with zip and link beds, one with twin beds and one with a king size bed.
A very large and well equipped new kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, large Britannia Cooker and masses of space leads into a lovely open plan drawing room and dining room with oak floors and a original big open fire and traditional fender. A large tiled porch at the side entrance contains a washing machine and dryer and ample space for coats, boots etc.
There are no less than five golf courses withing a few miles of Crieff as well as Gleneagles which is only 15 minutes away and world renound St Andrews, Carnoustie and Murrayshall are within an hour's drive away. Perthshire offers some of the best shooting, fishing and stalking anywhere in Britain and can be arranged if required.. Likewise hill walking and bird watching with ospreys and sea eagles to name a few within walking distance. White water rafting, water skiing, rock climbing and parachuting all available near by. We have plenty of accommodation and grazing if you wish to bring your own horses and a small polo ground. The riding out is fabulous with miles of forestry and open hill ground. Nearby is Strathearn eventing with fabulous cross country and jump cross facilities.
Historical tours - follow and find your clan routes with conducted tours, visiting Blair Castle, home of the Dukes of Atholl, Scone Palace near Perth where the ancient Kings of Scotland were crowned, Drummond Castle with it's beautiful gardens and Stirling Castle , William Wallace Monument, and Edinburgh is only one hour's drive away.
Culture: Perth has its own theatre and new concert hall and nearby is Pitlochry Festival Theatre and of course the Edinburgh International Festivals and Tattoo.

The site of the castle where the Mormaers (Kings) of Strathearn and later Earls of Strathearn lies just below the cottages and is a short walk away. The site has one of the most spectacular views and is understandably one of the most beautiful in Scotland.
The family connection and the history is available to anyone interested.
