Beinn Edra Cottage is a new building attached to Beinn Edra House. It is situated in Valtos, Staffin thirteen miles from Portree, the island's capital.

The cottage has its own entry porch and wheelchair access. It has an open plan kitchen/sitting room, with a fully equipped kitchen, two seater and three seater leather couch, fold-down table with chairs, flat-screen TV, with Sky package, DVD player and there is also a CD player.

The windows allow you to see the magnificent sea views across to the Torridon mountains and the Isle of Rona. There is a sliding patio door with steps to car-park and ample parking for two cars. The cottage has hard wood floors throughout, with bathroom and entry porch tiled. Full central heating, electricity towels and linen all included.

The bedroom has a superking size bed which can be turned into two single beds, two bedside cabinets with table lights, wardrobe with ample space, and a chest of drawers, the bedroom has the same views as the sitting-room.

The bathroom has a walk in shower, wash-hand basin, w.c, heated towel rail. There is a large cupboard in the hall with an iron, ironing board and clothes horse.

How to get here: From Skye bridge A850 to Portree, we are thirteen miles towards Staffin on the A855. After sign for Valtos we are one mile on the left.

Activities in the area include walking, fishing, boat trips, there are also lots of local attractions to visit. There are two local shops in Staffin, one with fuel facilities, there are two restuarants and two cafes one having internet access. We do accept well behaved pets.
