The Cottage, built in the 1800's, has been extended by converting the adjoining smithy and forming a spacious home sleeping 5 in 3 bedrooms.
A modern eat-in kitchen kitchen, bathroom and shower room complement traditionally decorated lounge and bedrooms.

It is situated within arable farm land providing magnificent and uninterrupted views west to Ben Lawers and north to Farragan. Griffin forest to the south allows country walks direct from the door.

The accommodation is all on one floor, the twin bedroom and kitchen both look toward Griffin forest.
The double bedroom, lounge and single bedroom all look to Ben Lawers. If the view is not entertaining enough then Sky Freeview, DVD, and sterio are provided with a variety of films, a large selection of books, indoor games and binoculars. Toes are toasted by the open wood fire.

The large garden has ample furniture, and barbeque. It is suitable for dogs only by arrangement, though the fencing is not dog proof. A small stream runs through the garden.

The eat in kitchen is well equipped including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Cooking is by ceramic hob, electric fan oven and microwave. There is a living flame gas fire, radio and fridge/freezer.
Both bathrooms have shaver points, electric showers and heated towel rails. Kitchen and bathrooms have recently been re-furbished.
The cottage is centrally heated by mains gas and double glazed.

A half mile of private road links the cottage to the main road with Aberfeldy which is 3 miles and able to supply most needs. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Oban, Aberdeen and Inverness are all within 2 hours of driving.
This central location is ideal to further explore Scotland. The new Aberfeldy Community Campus offers a great range of indoor sports including swimming, multi-gym, squash, badmington, yoga, zumba, tai chi, etc. Golf, fishing and tennis all available within 3 miles.

Bedding is provided on a weekly basis, a basket of wood is complimentary and gas and electricity are charged by meter reading.
