Esgairwen cottage is a beautiful 16th century stone built property.The cottage has been recently renovated and original exposed beams and thick stone walls add to its character.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside and with glorious views of Cader Idris, the cottage is decorated and furnished to a high standard. It offers a haven of peace and tranquility and is a warm and welcoming base from which to explore the area.

A popular locality with walkers and cyclists, the surrounding countryside offers many scenic walks including Precipice walk, Torrent walk and Cader Idris.

The renowned cycle trail Centre at Coed Y Brenin is only a short distance away. (Bicycle storage is available at the cottage).

The lovely sandy beaches of Barmouth and Fairbourne are both less than 15 miles away, as is Bala, which offers excellent water sports.

This well presented cottage is comfortably and tastefully furnished throughout. It has a well equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave,fridge and freezer. There is an open plan dining room/sitting room with leather sofas, flame effect fire and a 32" LCD TV with Sky freeview and DVD player with a large selection of DVD's.

Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms and one single bedroom, all with exposed beams. The large landing with two armchairs and a coffee table, offers a cosy area in which to read and relax. There is a shower room with a large shower, wash basin and wc.

Towels, bed linen and a welcome tray are provided.

A larger welcome pack can be provided on request for guests travelling from abroad.

Oil central heating is included, and there is a £1 coin meter for electricity.

There is ample car parking and children can play safely in the visitors' garden where there is a chimenea BBQ with picnic table and chairs.

Sorry but we do not allow pets of any kind and we do not allow smoking in the cottage.
