This 5 star graded attached original foresters cottage, is located in the heart of the 9000 acre Coed-Y-Brenin mountain forest park, around the valleys of the rivers Mawddach, Eden, Gain and Wen. The park is well known for offering the finest mountain biking in the UK, with way marked trails all based from the nearby bike hire and visitor centre. The park offers spectacular walks past rivers, gorges and waterfalls; in addition and for the brave, there is the fantastic Go Ape high wires course. From the south side of the cottage can be viewed the magnificent Cader Idris with the historic town of Dolgellau at its base. Whilst a short drive down the breathtaking Mawddach Estuary reveals the sandy blue flag beaches of Barmouth.

All in all Forest Lodge offers luxury accommodation in a spectacular area designated of special scientific interest yet is centrally placed for all the tourist attractions that the Snowdonia National Park has to offer

Internally the cottage has been very tastefully renovated in the fresh Nordic style with complementary blinds and soft furnishings from Laura Ashley. The bathroom is fully tiled in sandstone with luxury fittings in addition the cottage retains the original quarry tiled floors and oak beamed fireplace.
