The Anchorage, which is situated on the historical village square in Wickham, is the ideal base for your family holiday. Within close proximity to the M27, with ease of access to: Southampton, The New Forest, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight.

The cottage offers a lounge, with double fronted bay windows, wooden floor, and original fireplace with a character wood burner, leather sofas and flat screen television with DVD player.

The dining room with an open fire has a large dining table that can comfortably seat 12 guests. The dining room leads either into the fully equipped kitchen or the patio/ garden.

The fully equipped kitchen hosts modern appliances such as a range cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. The kitchen leads into the garden which has a patio table and chairs together with a BBQ.

The master bedroom has a super king size bed and an en suite wet room. The two further bedrooms offer double beds and share the family bathroom, with roll top bath and separate shower Bedrooms 1 & 2 are large enough to accommodate an additional Z bed.

Wickham village is situated near the River Meon and the disused Watercress railway line. The Forest of Bere is a short stroll from the Anchorage and offers a mixture of farmland, open space, down land, woodland and heath land. All of which are ideal for walks. There is also fishing, cycling and golfing close by.

Nearby places of interest include Portsmouth Historical Dockyard. The Spinnaker Tower. Marwell Zoological Park. The New Forest National Park is about a 60 minute drive.

The price of your stay is fully inclusive of heating. Towels and bed linen are provided. Housekeeping is available at an additional charge. Pets are allowed by prior agreement only and at an additional charge. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking together with a £100 security deposit. This is refundable subject to the property being left in accordance of the terms and conditions.

Please note that check in is from 3pm and we request that you check out by 11am on the day of departure. These times must be strictly adhered to, this allows sufficient change over time for the next guest.
