Kirkton Farm Cottage is a traditional farm cottage situated on a working farm on the Black Isle area of the Highlands and overlooks the RSPB bird sanctuary of Udale Bay.
The cottage is spacious and comfortably furnished sleeping 2/4.
There is a traditional farmhouse style kitchen / diner.
The kitchen is well fitted with cooker, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, toaster and kettle.
The comfortable living room is furnished with two seater and three seater sofas and has the addition of a real coal fire. The 3 seater sofa converts to a very comfortable double sofa bed.
Enjoy your meals in the dining room which has seating for 4 and enjoys extensive views over Udale bay.
The double bedroom has a comfortable wooden bed with matching furniture.
Outside, there is parking for two cars within the garden.
The garden is fully fenced and the patio area has a table and four chairs.
A BBQ is provided.
The cottage is centrally heated and double glazed throughout.
Coals and logs for the fire are provided.
All linen and towels are provided.
A welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a loaf of delicious Cromarty bakery bread is included.
The cottage offers peace and tranquillity whilst being only 30 minutes away from Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands.
The cottage has fabulous views out over the RSPB sanctuary of Udale bay and the Cromarty firth, acknowledged as one of the best places in Europe for spotting bottlenose dolphins.
It is also close to the conservation village of Cromarty with it’s shops, restaurant, hotel and pub.
There are many beautiful woodland and shoreline walks in the area where you may catch a glimpse of local wildlife.
Other outdoor pursuits in the area include dolphin watching, mountain biking, walking, fishing and golf.
