Balgowan House is a spacious 4 Star property in the Cairngorms National Park near Newtonmore, with spectacular views across the Spey Valley towards the Monadhliath Mountains. Built in 2007, the house sleeps 10 people comfortably, with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, and has been decorated and furnished to a high standard. We regret no smoking and pets only by prior arrangement.

There is a large kitchen, with double range cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer, and a separate utility room, with a washing machine and dryer.

The sitting room is a spacious L-shaped room with comfortable leather sofas, wood burning stove, satellite TV, stereo and dvd player. There is also a large hexagonal sun room with an oak floor and dining table seating 10, and a games room with a table tennis table and pool table.

The area was featured in the recent "Monarch of the Glen" series and gained many accolades for its stunning scenery. The Balgowan area is ideal for forest walks, climbing, horse riding and fishing. A little further afiield are numerous gardens, castles, distilleries and a wildlife park, whilst for the more active there is an adventure park, canoeing, sailing, skiing and climbing at Aviemore.
