Two holiday lets sleeping 2 and 6
Situated in the stretch of water between the Isle of Skye and the Applecross Peninsula on the west coast of Scotland this privately owned island has magnificent views over to Raasay, Skye and the mainland. This is an idyllic haven for those searching to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.The island consists of around 600 acres of mixed woodland and a plethora of freshwater lochs and streams with open hills rising up from the sea. There are more than 14 miles of stunning shoreline making this peaceful island a wonderful place to experience the wild and natural beauty of this part of the world.
The holiday cottages feature all of the facilities you would expect from the very best self catering accommodation.
KEEPERS COTTAGE - Sleeps 6
Situated on the beach just 20 metres from the sea Keepers Cottage has been recently refurbished and sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms, a cloakroom and spacious living areas. Decorated to the highest standards and designed to enable guests to enjoy the beach, garden and magnificent views at their best.
Features include pine beams, a glass fronted wood burning stove and the sea facing conservatory is the perfect spot to relax, have a drink and watch the evening sunset.
Keepers Cottage is located on a point on the island looking out towards Applecross, the Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye and is reached by a 1/3 mile track from the main house.
GARDEN COTTAGE - Sleeps 4
Located amongst the tranquil gardens of the main house with uninterrupted sea views, this well appointed property is perfect for couples or small families. There is a large area of foreshore in front making the cottage perfect for bird watching, rock pooling and hill walking. During the summer months migratory birds gather to feed and nest on the island.
The accommodation consists of one twin bedroom with ensuite shower room, one twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom. An open plan kitchen/dining room and a sitting room with wood buring stove.
Cotton sheets and towels are provided in both properties and a cot and high chair are available.
Price Information:
From £567 per week for the Garden Cottage to £758 high season. Very near to the shore & wonderful birdlife with magnificent views to Skye.Keepers £757 to £1061 has its own private beach with exceptional views & a good chance to see otters from the windows.
