Single holiday let sleeping up to 4 guests
Bourne Farm Oasthouse is a triple kiln converted oast half a mile down a rugged farm track in the Heart of the Kent (garden of England country). The coastal town of Rye is 20mins away, Bodiam Castle next village (or 45mins over the Kent ditch on a footpath), outdoor activities and fun at Bedgebury Pinetum (3 mountain bike tracks, Hi-wire assault courses ...... or gentle ambles if you prefer) and numerous beautiful gardens to visit (Sissinghurst, Great Dixter, Pashley Manor, Hole Park all within 5 miles).
Accommodation, each within one of the outer roundels, comprises a double with four poster, or a twin with XXL 3'6" twin Swedish beds.
The two bathrooms are cleverly designed inside the central roundel - one with roll top 'spotty pink bath' and one with walk in wet room.
The well equipped farmhouse kitchen (aged dresser, spode china, butlers sink, dishwasher etc) is off the raised access/balcony with views down the valley.
The kitchen sits under a beamed and vaulted ceiling with open plan sitting room (TV/DVD/Music/Books/Mags/brochures/maps & wifii connection).
Pair resident dogs (Jack Russell named Titus and Irish Terrier Moira) are always up for walks or outings ......
Owners Fergus and Ally moved back to the UK after returning from their adventures (and working!) in South Africa in the late '90s. Consequently Bourne Farm Oast is furnished in a simple colonial style.
