Two holiday lets sleeping 2 and 3

The two cottages at Fielden Farm offer good quality, affordable, self catering accommodation in 2 separate cottages. They are located where Lancashire borders Yorkshire overlooking Littleborough and the magnificent South Pennine moors.

The cottages were converted from an original barn/shippon and our first cottage which sleeps 2 guests has been awarded 4 starts by Visit Britain and opened in September 2010. The second, larger cottage was completed in March 2011.
The cottages both benefit from underfloor heating throughout provided by renewable Groundsource Heating making them highly energy efficient.

For those who enjoy outdoor activities this is the perfect location, with many walking routes from short strolls to full day hikes leading straight from the door. The Pennine Way and the Pennine Bridleway are close by and we overlook Hollingworth Lake with its Watersport Activity Centre and Whittaker Golf Club.

The M62 is 10 minutes away, Manchester in just a 30 minute train ride from Littleborough or Hebden Bridge is just 20 minutes in the other direction.

COTTAGE 1
Our first cottage is open plan with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It sleeps 2 guests in either 6ft double 'Zip'n'Link' or 3ft twin beds. The property was finished in September 2010 and mixes traditional features with all mod cons.

The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, hob, grill and oven.

There is underfloor heating throughout provided by renewable Groundsource energy with an additional logburner for cosy evenings in the colder months. Television with DVD and Satellite and Wifi are also available. Sorry no pets allowed.

COTTAGE 2
Completed March 2011, the cottage will sleep up to 3 guests. The former old barn entrance now serves as a large window which floods light into the the open plan living area downstairs and the main bedroom upstairs.

In the corner of the living area is a fireplace with a woodburner in addition to the underfloor heating which is fitted throughout.
The new fitted kitchen is complete with all appliances including dishwasher and washing machine.

There are two bedrooms upstairs which consist of one large bedroom with a 6ft Superking 'Zip 'n' Link' bed that can be divided into twin singles and a smaller bedroom which has a 3ft 6ins super single.

If needed we also have space for vans and trailers with an electric hook up by arrangement. Sorry we no longer accept pets in the cottage.
