Walton Thorns Farm Cottages are a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of life located in rural Leicestershire. Set in great countryside with lovely views. We also have a farm trail and vintage tractor collection to view.

All of the cottages have a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. Access to all cottages is level and suitable for those with restricted mobility. The access to the patios from Shire Cottage and The Old Hay Barn involves a step. We have newly installed aids for those with hearing difficulties and are Level H2 graded.

Shire Cottage is a spacious open plan cottage with two en-suite bedrooms. The twin has a shower/wc and the other a king size bed with bath/wc. The living area has great views from the picture windows and access out to the patio and the fields.

The Old Hay Barn has a stunning vaulted ceiling with original brickwork features. A cosy cottage for a couple with a contemporary en-suite shower/wc and king size bed with super views.

Dairy Cottagesleeps 4/5 in a family room with double and single bed and a further twin room. There is a shower room/wc and additional wc. Very spacious and contemporay decor.

All guests are provided with a welcome tray and some local beer and cordial.

The farm is nearby to a bridle way and public footpaths and the local pub is about 3 miles away and can be walked or cycled to on a quiet rural road.

We are ideally situated for visiting attractions such as The National Space Centre in Leicester, Belvoir Castle, Melton Mowbray Market and Twin Lakes Theme Park, Newark Showground, Loughborough University and Nottingham Castle.

Close by you can enjoy 3 golf courses, fishing, riding, Ragdale Hall Health Spa , Kite Flying at Hoton and the Driving Experience at Prestwold.
