East Ruston Farm Cottages consist of seven friendly, self catering holiday cottages in and around East Ruston in Norfolk

THE OLD PIGGERY - sleeps up to 6 in 3 bedrooms with 2 bath/shower rooms.
Situated on a quiet village lane next to the owners' smallholding. The Old Piggery is a converted single storey former cart shed and piggery next to an old Norfolk threshing barn. Features include a wood burning stove, solid Norfolk pamment floors, open plan living area and eco-friendly water and heating systems. The building is finished to an extremely high standard, using reclaimed materials and is furnished and decorated in a simple, fresh rural style. Outside is an enclosed barn yard with outdoor furniture and barbecue. There is also a small grass area (not enclosed) at the rear, parking for 4 cars. Very suitable for children, dogs and those with limited mobility. Easy walking along tracks and lanes from the door.

THE GARDEN ROOM - sleeps 2 - 4 guests
Located in the beautiful garden of The Old Rectory at Ridlington. This single storey accommodation is beautifully presented and sleeps 2 in an open plan studio style area with a sofa bed for extra guests/children. Wooden flooring and rugs throughout and tastefully decorated. Four acres of garden and woodland surround the property. Croquet lawn and all weather tennis court (available by arrangement - no charge), ample parking. Bikes available for hire. Easy walking onto wooded commons from the door.

RED ROOFS - sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms.
Located in the rural Broads village of Hickling down a quiet, private road with stunning views over Hickling Broad. Filled with an intriguing and eclectic mix of old and new furniture and fittings, all the rooms are light and airy and can very easily accommodate 8 guests. Ideal for families with children, birdwatching, sailing and walking. There is plenty of room both inside and outside the house. A boat is available for use by guests. Easy walking down the private road from the house and minutes from quiet sandy beaches.

MILESTONE BARN - Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms
Located in the quiet village of Gimmingham this newly restored barn is fitted out to a very high standard and very comfortable. A mile from the sea and on the Paston Way footpath. Single storey building with a fully fenced and gated garden, ideal for dogs.

HOLMES HOUSE - sleeps 4+ in 2 bedrooms
Located at the end of a lane with grass growing down the middle, that's how quiet it is at Holmes House. Being right next to the Weavers Way means there is easy dog walking right from the front door. The house is very well laid out and very homely with an open fire in the living room and a very well fitted kitchen. Bath/shower rooms upstairs and down. Lots of garden space with paddocks too if you want to bring horses with you.

THE TENDER - sleeps 2 + sofa bed
Beautifully appointed, single storey, studio style annexe to owners house (separate access and garden area), brand new in July 2012 and luxuriously appointed. On quiet village road, just a few steps from the Weavers Way path. Village pub within walking distance.

ST BENETS - sleeps up to 12
Beautifully appointed family house, furnished to a high standard and a stone's throw from the quiet, sandy Blue Flag beach. The house has a contemporary and elegant feel but also manages to be homely and comfortable with many of the original Victorian features retained.

All cottages are very well situated for easy walking, fishing (both sea and on local lakes), cycling, bird watching, visiting local gardens (including the famous East Ruston Old Vicarage gardens) and are only minutes from sandy beaches and the Norfolk Broads.

Dogs very welcome - no charge in any of the properties.
