Higher Sellick Farm is a former dairy farm situated peacefully in lovely Devon countryside, with easy access to the wide sandy beaches, surfing and rock pools at Widemouth Bay and Bude as well as to the dramatic scenary of Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and Exmoor. There is much to do and see for adults and children in this, often undiscovered, part of Devon.
We have three Cottages available. Puddleduck cottage - a charming detached single storey cottage built from local stone with traditional slate roof, with views over the countryside. Puddleduck cottage sleeps 4 and has 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 childrens bunk room) - Most suitable for partially disabled visitors.
Primrose (sleeps 4) and Poppy (sleeps 6) are part of a 2 storey former stone granary building tastefully converted to 2 cosy holiday cottages with beamed celings and central heating. With views over the trees and fields enjoyed through the large picture windows. Both have master double bedroom with 5ft four poster beds plus shower/toilet facilities on each floor.
Nearby is the traditional market town of Holsworthy with its weekly markets, shops and pubs where the sevice will take you back 20 years.
Higher Sellick Farm Cottages belong to the VisitBritain Quality Assurance Scheme with 4 star grading.
Price information:
Various prices from £198 low season to £548/£633 in the peak. We also do short breaks all thru the year except for high season. From £45 per night for 2.
We take l well behaved dog @ £15 per booking.
