Stowford Lodge is situated in six acres of glorious North Devon countryside comprising an orchard, with childrens play area, a paddock, and a large field used for grazing. Plenty of space is available for car parking and locked storage is available for bicycles. The four cottages at Stowford Lodge have been sympathetically converted from Victorian stone farm buildings grouped around a gravel courtyard. We also have a beautiful 4 star log cabin (sleep 5/6) called Tarka's Holt. Warren Cottage sleeps up to six people, Halcyon, Tarquol and Old Nog sleep four each (plus one additional travel cot in all cases). We have an indoor heated swimming pool, lovely and warm whatever the season and whatever the weather. Dogs are welcome at Stowford Lodge by arrangement.

The picturesque and secluded location of Stowford Lodge gives the perfect base for a leisurely ad peaceful holiday. The Tarka Trail long distance footpath and cycle way passes nearby and the RHS gardens at Rosemoor are less than two miles away.The beaches of the North Devon coast are less than half an hour's drive away, and the moorland areas of Exmoor and Dartmoor are within easy reach.

We are open all year round and our cottages are inspected annually by the English Tourism Council; the cottages are rated three stars and Tarka's Holt, the log cabin has received 4 stars.
