Courtyard Cottage is a lovely self catering grade II listed cottage set in the countryside just 10 minutes from Barnstaple in North Devon. The self catering cottage can be rented by the week, or for short breaks (min 2 nights). With some of North Devons finest beaches and great walking countryside just a short drive away this really is a great base for your self catering holiday. We now have a log burning fire for cosy evenings by the fire.

Courtyard Cottage is a grade ll listed, two bedroom cottage attached to Plaistow Barton farmhouse. We have worked hard to make Courtyard Cottage a fantastic place for you to spend your holiday. Within the back paddock are 4 chickens and in the spring we will get more lambs. Also try the eggs from our chickens fresh in the morning (they taste far better than shop bought eggs!!).

GUESTS NOW HAVE USE OF NEARBY INDOOR HEATED SWIMMING POOL - For a small fee guests will be able to use the swimming pool of a small holiday complex (North Hill) just 5 minutes drive away.

The Cottage makes a great base for a holiday either with or without children. It has its own parking for two vehicles leading to your private entrance into your lounge/kitchen. The lounge has a large inglenook fireplace with a log burner above which is a listed plaster plaque dating back to 1679.

Upstairs is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom and bathroom with shower over the bath.

Courtyard Cottage is available all year round.
