Nestling in a peaceful and picturesque corner of rural West Devon, Woodhall Barns Holiday Cottages were converted from a crescent of ancient farm buildings in 2006. The light and contemporary interiors offer comfort and all the facilities you need, with en suite bathrooms, fully fitted kitchens and flat screen TVs.

Falcon's Perch accommodates up to 8 guests in four bedrooms: a downstairs en suite twin (or zip & link king size double); and upstairs, an en suite double plus second double and a twin. There is a second bathroom and downstairs there is a delightful open plan lounge and dining area with a kitchen equipped with dishwasher and washer/dryer. For guests with impaired mobility, the downstairs en suite twin/double bedroom has level access to the lounge.

Guests have access to a heated indoor swimming pool and a large games room including pool, table football (pay to play) and table tennis. The games room is available for private functions when guests book multiple cottages for a special occasion (total capacity of the site is 33 adults plus infants).

The owners keep a small number of rare breed pigs, as well as chickens and ducks - a source of great delight and fascination to visiting children who are welcome to help out at feeding time. There is a dedicated children's play area with swings and slides, and a large communal BBQ for guests to use during the long warm evenings.

The site extends to almost 3 acres and provides direct access to footpaths and cycle routes including the Tarka Trail. Dartmoor, which can be seen from the site, is a 15 minute drive away accessible via the pretty market town of Okehampton (which has a Waitrose supermarket). The Red Lion pub in the village of Exbourne is just over one mile away; it has an excellent reputation for real ale and good food. You can eat out at the Duke of York, Iddesleigh, visit the village hall made famous by 'War Horse' and explore Dartmoor from a cosy base at Woodhall Barns.

Exeter is 35 minutes away by car, and Bude and many other exquisite North Cornwall beaches can be reached in under and hour.
