A Grade II Listed medieval farmhouse, featured on BBC2's 'Restoration Village', Welcombe Barton provides unique rustic accommodation, offering peace and tranquillity. Nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just one mile from the heritage coastline at Welcombe Mouth, Welcombe Barton is in a magnificent location.

The property has 4 bedrooms sleeping 10 with a 'camping barn' for children sleeping a further 8, a sitting room/diner with woodburner, slate flagstones and a grade II listed settle, a bathroom, kitchen, and dairy/utility. Flexible sleeping arrangements offering a choice of : 2 double rooms plus single bed, a further double room, and a twin room. There is an additional catering kitchen, huge barn for indoor activities, and 4 acre field with celtic roundhouse, cob oven and composting loos. Great for a couple of families with children to get together to relax and play, no matter what the weather is doing. Plus there's a massage room which can be used if people want to book a massage, which is only £25 for an hour.

There is a village shop and pub serving home cooked meals and local beers within a mile. You can combine inspiring walks along the coastal path and the Marsland Valley with surfing at Welcombe Mouth, which is an SSSI, and why not visit the cobbled fishing village of Clovelly, and Dartington Glass at RHS Rosemoor.

Welcombe Barton appeals to those wishing to get away from it all and so does not provide a television or telephone. Mobile phone reception is limited.
