The cottages are based in North Devon close to the towns of Bideford and Bude and just 5 miles from the famous village of Clovelly. Located in an idyllic rural position with magnificent countryside views to the sea and beyond. The cottages are set in 14 acres of private grounds and have been stylishly converted from period stone barns dating back to Medieval times and sleep from 2 to 6 guests (20 if booked altogether).

Set on a thriving small holding where the owners rear a selection of livestock the cottages also boast a play area and shared sauna and spa facilities. The local area has been very popular with film makers due to its timeless nature and beautiful rural scenery and recently King Arthur, Sense & Sensibility to name but two have been filmed here.

This is the perfect location for a relaxed holiday or break with stunning walking in many directions. Many of the main attractions of North Devon and Cornwall are closeby making it the perfect base for days out.

Activities in the local vicinity include surfing, golf, sailing, cycling, fishing, bird watching and much more. A short walk away are beaches and rock-pools where children of all ages love exploring.

The village of Hartland is within a short walk through ancient woods and boasts a variety of shops including a greengrocers, fish & chips, an off-licence and general store, craft shops, pubs, doctors and post office/newsagent.

Pets are welcome and children love feeding the farm animals.
