Detached cottage in secluded, beautiful location amongst the rolling scenery of Exmoor. Three bedrooms - one double, one twin and one with bunk beds. Kitchen/Diner with Rayburn. Large lounge, bathroom and enclosed porch. Night storage heaters and an electric fire in the lounge. Large enclosed garden - perfect for dogs and safe for children. Direct access to the moors. Miles of walking on footpaths leading to all areas of Exmoor. A few miles from the cottage is the sea and the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth. See Exmoor in Devon in its natural state, unspoilt and peaceful! Cottage let Saturday to Saturday. Everything provided apart from sheets, pillow cases and towels.
There are several riding stables in the area, all are within walking distance, though it would be better to drive incase children are tired after riding.
Lynton and Lynmouth are four miles away. Lynmouth has a beach, and there are lots of shops. Lynton has supermarkets, and more shops.
You can drive to Minehead golf course, Ifracombe and Saunton - all very good golf courses.
The cottage is surrounded by the wilds of Exmoor. Lots of wonderful walks on the moors, and through the woods. From Brendon you can walk The Coastal path, either to Porlock and beyond, or the other way to Lynmouth and the valley of Rocks and on to Cornwall.
The cottage is one of three properties down a short private road (a Farm,a neighbour's cottage and Southern Cottage. It is ideal for people who want to get away from it all.
