Set in a beautiful location in the heart of Northumberland. The Reading Rooms,recently renovated smiddy, is a Four Star Gold award holiday cottage perfectly located for everything that Northumberland has to offer including beaches, historic castles and magnificent countryside. This detached barn has been newly renovated and is set in the pretty hamlet of North Charlton right at the heart of Northumberland. This is a great location for either a coast or country break and is the perfect place for a large family holiday.

The Reading Rooms boasts three spacious bedrooms, a large lawned garden, a sun house and a stunning open plan living room. Additionally, in the master bedroom the bed can be split into two singles and we can also arrange the hire of a hoist.

ACCOMMODATION

DOWNSTAIRS
The Main Living Area is light and spacious and has a beamed ceiling, wooden floor, leather chesterfield sofas and a wing chair. There is also an oil fired stove and a digital TV with DVD player. At one end of the room is a dining table and chairs.

The Kitchen Area has granite work surfaces, a Rangemaster electric cooker, an induction hob, a hot plate and a griddle. There is also a Belfast sink, a fridge freezer and a dishwasher.

The separate Utility Room has a wooden floor, Belfast sink, washing machine, microwave, coat hanging and the boiler cupboard.

The Main Bedroom is spacious and has a king size bed which can be split into two singles. There are wardrobes along one wall and a wall mounted flat screen TV. There is also an ensuite wet room which is spacious enough to enable wheelchair access to overhead and hand held shower and wc, wash handbasin, heated towel rail, electric hand dryer, emergency pull cord indicator and shaver point.

The second bedroom is slightly smaller and has a pine double bed and matching furniture. There is also a digital TV, wardrobe and an ensuite shower room with wc and handbasin.

UPSTAIRS

A Triple Bedroom is built into the eaves of the cottage. This room has sloping ceilings, velux windows and three 2ft 6� beds. There is a selection of children�s books, a digital television, a family bathroom with hand shower over corner bath, a heated towel rail, a wash handbasin and wc.

OUTSIDE
Outside is a large lawned area and patio with furniture, a sun house and a driveway with ample parking.

We are very conveniently located for the A1 and very close to Alnwick, Bamburgh, and Chillingham Castles and the magnificent Northumberland coastline.

Just 20 minutes to the Cheviot hills, 40 minutes to Newcastle and one hour to Edinburgh.
