Hemmel Cottage and Apple Orchard House are located in a magnificent location midway between the villages of Alnmouth and Warkworth and overlooking the heritage coastline of Northumberland.It is an ideal base to explore the unique Northumberland experience of outstanding scenery and a sense of freedom. There is an excellent beach within walking distance and the sand dunes which are a feature of this coastline, provide good shelter.
APPLE ORCHARD HOUSE - sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms.
Spacious cottage with uninterrupted views over the Alnmouth estuary. Tastefully decorated living room featuring an inglenook fireplace, woodburning stove and exposed stonework leading out onto a cobbled courtyard. Large well equipped farmhouse kitchen/diningroom. Downstairs double and large twin bedded rooms. Spiral staircase leading to master bedroom with beamed pyramid ceiling and en-suite shower room.
HEMMEL COTTAGE - sleeps 6 - 8 in 3 bedrooms
The cottage itself is very spacious with a large 40ft living/dining room featuring french windows leading to a cobbled courtyard. There are three bedrooms with a family bathroom and one bedroom having an en-suite. The log burning stove has logs provided for arrival and there is secure parking for two cars and a lawned area with open views over the surrounding Northumbrian countryside and coast.
