Originally built in the mid 1800s for workers on the Welbeck Estate by the 4th Duke of Portland, the cottage was tastefully restored in 2009 and now offers comfortable accommodation whilst still retaining many original features and period details.
ACCOMMODATION
The Living Room is a spacious area to relax and features a Hunter Multi-fuel Stove and modern leather suite. Also included is a 22" flat screen TV with Freeview, an iPod dock and a DVD player.
The Kitchen/Dining Room is fitted with Shaker style units, a built in oven, hob and extractor fan. There is also a free standing fridge with freezer compartment, a microwave oven, toaster and a full range of pots, pans and utensils.
The dining table is to be found next to a feature brick wall which makes it a distinct dining area and a lovely place to sit and chat in the evenings whilst the meal is being prepared.
The Master Bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets, a dressing table, a tall-boy and co-ordinating linen and curtains.
The Bunk Bedroom has bunk beds which will accommodate two children or small adults i.e. not large.
The bathroom has a modern free standing bath, designer glass pedestal basin and close coupled WC, mirror and shaver point. An electric towel warmer is situated just outside the bathroom.
Outside the courtyard garden has a wooden decking area, a herb garden and seating for 4 guests. There is also a parking area - with access from Mill Lane.
