Space to breathe, time to relax, whether you read a book, walk across the hills or just sit in the overgrown gardens and watch birds building their nests you can find lots of slow things to do for a few days or weeks at a time. Blue Door Cottages at Sherwood provide pleasantly quirky accommodation for couples and small families to enjoy on an individual basis but also form an ideal group for larger families and friends to enjoy each others' company while providing the space and privacy people need to really relax. Between them the 4 cottages can easily accommodate 12 people and beds for groups of up to 16 can be arranged subject to agreement with the owners. Well behaved dogs are welcome. The cottages, Hen House, Potting Shed, Brew House and the Wine Cellar, have been converted from redundant out-buildings at Sherwood. The buildings are set in about five acres of a rather overgrown woodland garden, which is surrounded by fields and backs on to a valley of mature forestry commission woodland. Each cottage is available for *B&B short breaks/weekends OR for 7 day Self-Catering stays. You can select start dates to suit your requirements. See tariff/availability.

Set on the lower slopes of the Quantocks along narrow winding lanes but only 10 minutes from Junction 24 of the M5, Sherwood is a great place to relax but also makes a wonderful base from which to explore the whole of Somerset and some of the attractions of the surrounding counties.
