Duddings is stunningly set in the beautiful Avill Valley in the Exmoor National Park, only 2 miles from medieval Dunster & 4 miles from the coast. The thatched longhouse (sleeps12) & 12 cottages (sleeping 2-16/18) have been beautifully converted from old stone barns & are all rated Visit Britain 4 Star. Duddings is an ideal base from which to explore the 600 milies of local public footpaths & bridleways. Many picturesque villages & harbours lie within easy reach, and the famous ponies & red deer can be found on the moor.

All cottages are equiped, furnished & maintained to a high standard. Please see our website for full details. We are open all year & offer short breaks (fri-mon or mon-fri) outside of the main school holidays. Pets & children welcome.

Our facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, hard tennis court, putting green, games room (with pool table, table tennis & table football), trampoline, football net & Gate Lodge play centre. There are 8 acres of land to explore with picnic areas & a safe river. This is a marvellous spot for families or couples in an area which has so much to offer.
