Valley Springs Self Catering Holiday Cottages and Fishery lies just inland from Slapton Sands, South Devon and its well known ley nature reserve. Set 100 yards off a narrow, high hedged Devon lane, it's surrounded by the soft, undulating countryside and red soiled farmland of the South Hams, Devon.
Sherford, the nearby village is traditional thatch and cob cottages. The nearest shop and Inn are 10 minutes away, with the waterside, market town of Kingsbridge and the Salcombe estuary on 15 minutes drive.
Converted from former farm buildings, our stone self catering holiday cottages combine the comfort of the 21st century with a rural South Devon setting. They nestle around a naturally spring fed duck pond, home to Koi Carp. Children love to feed the ducks and doves in the summer holidays.
The pure quality of the water running through our valley means the fish can grow to enormous sizes and, as might be expected, the fishing at Valley Springs is excellent.
