Shepherds Patch is a charming detached, thatched cottage situated in the heart of the quaint village of Thurlestone. The property benefits from light and spacious rooms all of which are beautifully presented. The Blue Flag sandy beach and spectacular coastline of the South Devon coast are approximately a mile away. Less than a 10 minute walk brings you to the famous Thurlestone Golf Club.
On entering the cottage through a thatched porch entrance, you are welcomed by a large hall featuring country style decoration, off of which one can access all of the ground floor rooms.
The beamed lounge benefits from a feature fireplace with electric fire, leather sofas, TV, DVD and a range of antique furniture. The conservatory can be accessed through double doors and overlooks the garden and patio area. The spacious country-style kitchen incorporates a bespoke kitchen with an Island unit and is well equipped with modern facilities including a washer dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and range cooker.
The dual aspect dining room can be accessed from the hall and kitchen and incorporates a table with seating for 10, and a complimentary range of traditional furniture. There is also a downstairs cloakroom.
There are three double bedrooms leading off the first floor landing, all with en-suite bathrooms, 2 of which have showers and the other has a Jacuzzi bath. Two bedrooms have four poster beds and all benefit from a range of antique furniture and views over the garden.
The second floor incorporates 2 twin bedded rooms which have been delightfully furnished in a traditional design. They both share a bathroom, with bath.
The enclosed garden enjoys secluded privacy and has been well stocked with a variety of plants and shrubs. There is a small lawned area, a patio with furniture for dining alfresco. To the side of the property there is a parking space with additional parking nearby.
Well behaved dogs are welcomed, for an additional £15 each per week.
