Very comfortable, very well-equipped and beautifully presented, Croft House Barn is a 4 star Gold awarded, 400 year old stone cottage in the Peak District National Park hamlet of Waterfall. Sleeping up to 6 in 3 en-suite bedrooms, one on the ground floor, it is under 200 yards from a cosy country pub serving good homemade food. Doorstep walks/cycling include the spectacular Manifold Trail. Close to Dovedale, Ashbourne, and Alton Towers, it offers a super base for exploring the wider Peak District and the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Once housing livestock for the adjoining owners' former farmhouse, Croft House Barn was run as a successful guest house before sympathetic renovation transformed it into spacious self-catering accommodation. We've made the most of the stone and timber which were part of its original charm, whilst upgrading its facilities. It is owner-managed, enabling a high standard of cleanliness and welcoming homely touches, including welcome 'basket.'
