Two holiday lets sleeping 2 and 6

Stone barn converted by present owners to provide 2 comfortable and well-appointed self-catering cottages in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands yet only 15 minutes from Alton Towers.

The village of Waterhouses has pubs, a village shop and post office within walking distance.

The larger cottage has 3 bedrooms with beds for 5, though an extra person can be accommodated on a folding bed.

There is a full bathroom with shower over the bath, and an en-suite toilet and washbasin to the twin bedroom.

The kitchen has cooker, microwave,dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer and dining table and chairs.

There is a spacious lounge with comfortable settees and armchairs, TV, DVD and video. We have Freesat, offering a wide choice of programmes.

The smaller cottage has one bedroom, with a super-king bed,which can be converted to 2 singles if requested. There is a full bathroom with shower over the bath. The kitchen has cooker, microwave,fridge and a dining table and chairs. The lounge has a comfortable settee and armchair, and a log/coal burner for cool nights.

Both cottages are centrally heated with ample hot water also provided. We can provide a cot and high chair. All bedding (except for the cot) and towels are included.

There is a patio for guests' use with garden furniture.
We also offer guests a FREE DAY'S CYCLE HIRE.

An ideal base for cycling, walking, visiting the Peak District and Staffordshire or thrill-seeking at Alton Towers; within a short drive there are facilities for fishing, golf, swimming, horse-riding and birdwatching.

There are cinemas in Stoke and Derby, and bowling in Stoke and Macclesfield (all about 35 minutes drive).
