Hall Barn offers comfortable, quality accommodation in a quiet and beautiful setting in the heart of Constable country, just outside the picturesque village of Long Melford and close to timber-framed Lavenham. Sited in the peaceful surroundings of the Kentwell Estate, half a mile from the nearest road, it is perfectly placed to explore Suffolk's highways or visit the historic towns of Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury and Cambridge.

Recently converted, Hall Barn with its timber frame beams, nooks and crannies, huge garden and antique furniture is a charming location to relax and have fun in.

The property can be let as a whole or two separate units: Hall Barn is suitable for six but can sleep a maximum of eight. The Annexe can sleep a maximum of five. Most bedrooms can be set up as a double or twin. Cots are available on request.

Hall Barn's sitting room comes complete with a cosy woodburner (we'll give you a starter basket of logs for when you arrive), games and books. From here you can go directly into the large garden next to fields of the estate.

There is a lovely oak dining room and traditional sit-in kitchen. Upstairs you'll find a snug area with TV and DVD player, which also has a lockable gate for keeping small children safe.

Hall Barn has three bedrooms, each with its own distinct character (one ensuite) and a large family bathroom. There is also a futon bed in the upstairs Snug.

The Annexe has a small, but well-equipped kitchen and large, light living area with a wood burner which also leads out onto the garden. Both houses come equipped with a dishwasher.

The Annexe houses a further two spacious and well appointed bedrooms, which can be made up as either double or twin rooms. The main bedroom is on the ground floor and has an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is upstairs and has an additional single bed. The family bathroom is upstairs.
