Bedroom one has a large double bed in a spacious setting with typical stone cottage style, south facing windows, an en suite shower, basin and toilet. If sleeping 5 people, the additional comfortable sofa bed is made up in this room, (on request) . It is also the ideal room to place the travel cot, if required. Bedroom two contains twin beds with an en suite bathroom, a luxurious whirlpool bath, basin and toilet. The room has amazing panoramic views of the countryside, allowing the onlooker to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of a small Cotswold village.

The lounge is spacious and welcoming, centred around a large inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove, ready to offer those perfect cosy evenings by the fire. The fireplace is ready to light, provided with a basket of logs and extra available to purchase from the owner. There is a large wide screen HD television with Freeview, DVD player with a selection of DVDs. CD player/radio.

The kitchen/ diner is well equipped with comfortable seating, crockery and cutlery for five people. Leading off from the kitchen there is a utility room containing a large ceramic Belfast sink, drying space, a coat hanging area and space for those muddy wellies. Ideal for those who want to take advantage of the stunning local walks, The space also stores a washing machine and leads to a convenient cloakroom with a toilet and basin.

Milestones has its own off street parking and enclosed, self-contained garden with private patio area to enjoy long summer evenings. Alongside this there is a small lawned area.

There are many golf courses within 10-30 minutes drive from Long Compton. Also several fishing lakes within 5-30 minutes drive. A local beautician and a massage therapist have treatment rooms in the village and offer a wide choice of treatments available within 5 minutes walk.

Welcome items to enhance your arrival. This always includes tea, coffee, fresh milk, biscuits. Also included are the boring basics which no one wants to have to think about bringing when packing up or food shopping en route: washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, loo rolls for first few days, soap, washing powder, dishcloths, basic cleaning materials, bin bags.

Basket of logs provided.

One well behaved dog is allowed . We ask that guests do not leave their dog unattended in the cottage at any time, that they are not allowed in the bedrooms and also that they clear up after their dog. One dog bowl is provided.

There is a short flight of stairs with handrail to the bedrooms. Whilst the cottage would be suitable for many elderly people, the stairs may be a problem for the infirm. Photo of stairs can be emailed to you.
