Goodwood Oak Lodge can be found near the edge of the Goodwood Country Estate which is just 2 miles east of Chichester. This new and unusual holiday lodge is an interesting and stylish retreat which has been finished to an exceptionally high standard.

The property is set in a tranquil situation and conveniently situated for exploring the coast and the beautiful South Downs. It has been built in the grounds of Oak House and benefits from private car parking, its own secluded garden area and views across open fields and Chichester cathedral.

The lodge has been constructed out of solid oak timbers and features stunning vaulted ceilings, full length patio doors, exposed beams and thermostatically controlled underfloor heating with ceramic tile flooring.

The accommodation centres around an open plan living and kitchen area.

The kitchen is fitted with oak units and granite worktops and includes a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge and combi-microwave. There is also plenty of white crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, an iron and ironing board and a toaster.

Internet and Wifi available
The Living Room/Dining Area features an Italian leather corner sofa, flat screen TV/DVD (with Freeview) and an oak dining table and chairs. There are also plenty of books, magazines, DVDs and games available. (When booking please make any requests).

The bedroom is furnished with a kingsize bed, an armchair, a full length mirror, a wardrobe and a pull-out single bed. We also supply a hairdryer and radio alarm.

The ensuite shower room has a tiled floor and walls and includes an auto fan, a mist-free illuminated mirror and a walk-in shower.

Patio doors from both the living room and bedroom open up onto a small private garden. The West facing garden features a traditional stone paved area with barbeque and outdoor seating. There is an area for car parking, outdoor security lighting and keypad entry.

Towels, toiletries and a welcome food & drink basket are all included. We can supply a travel cot as well as a babysitting service if required.

Internet access is available and there is good wheelchair access.

Pets are very welcome with wonderful walks for dogs nearby. We can also supply a dog walking service if required.

The famous Goodwood Hotel is just a short walk down the nearby lane. The hotel offers a leisure and health club and a Pay and Play Golf Club. The restaurants at the hotel are open to non-members/hotel guests and we can offer guest entrance for use of the swimming pool, tennis courts, gym & spa facilities.

Some basic provisions will include tea, coffee,marmalde ,bread/croissants , milk and biscuits/chocolates. All linen, towels and guest toiletries are provided.

Also nearby is Goodwood Flying Club which makes Oak Lodge a very convenient base for anyone visiting.
