Probable scam alert
Dear Last Minute Cottage advertisers,
A few months ago we had a spate of scam emails which were coming to you via our email enquiry forms, mainly from abroad. The enquirer was asking for specific dates and then suggesting placing more than the rent asked for into your bank account and then asking you to transfer the remaining money into another bank account. We have received word from 2 advertisers over the past couple of days with very similar emails once again, this time from Spain.
We are pretty sure that these emails are scams and wish to pass on this information to you all.
