Newark-on- Trent, also referred to as "Newark," is a market town and civil parish located in Nottinghamshire's Newark and Sherwood area. It has a lot to discover and is located near the River Trent and the significant Roman Fosse Way. The town grew up around the old Newark Castle, which is now in ruins but still contains charming gardens, a thriving market, and a number of other historic structures. The Church of St. Mary Magdalene, a Grade I listed building notable for its tower and octagonal spire, is just one of many architectural delights in the town, which is home to a wealth of historic wonders. You can also enjoy a cool drink in The Queen's Head, one of the town's oldest pubs, or marvel at the tallest church in the county.

The door had swelled so much that unlocking the door from the inside was inoperable. I found this out the following day in the morning with the intent of doing a little shopping. Had there been a fire l would have burnt to death. There is no way out other than the one stuck door. I managed, l am senior lady to climb out through the kitchen window. A knocked on the door of a neighbor and they climbed back into the property and managed to open the door and lubricate the lock. I never the locked the door again even at night. It was an awful stay. Please if you value your life or your reason keep away from Jallands Row Newark. Sykes are quite useless in any regard except for booking properties. They don't inspect or manage anything least of all your vacation lodgings.
