This charming cottage is situated in the hamlet Broughton Mills, 2 miles from the market town of Broughton-In-Furness. The area just North of Carnforth has tidal sands bordering the huge expanse of Morecambe Bay. It offers plenty of pleasant walks and opportunity to see local birds and wildlife. 15 miles from the winding lanes of the Yorkshire Dales and a hop and a skip from the Lake District, it is close to absolutely everywhere. Other local attractions are the swimming pool and leisure centre at Capernwray and Greenlands Farm Village for crafts.

Very comfortable, well equipped, and in very picturesque surroundings which would have been stunning except for the Lake District weather! Didnât stop us getting in the hot-tub though, which we enjoyed. The Blacksmiths Arms 10 minutes down the lane is outstanding for food, but a booking for a table is a must. Will certainly look to book Rose Cottage again for sure, it was pretty much perfect.

The new bed and sofas are super comfortable! Still reckon you have one of the best hot tub views in the UK. A lovely week and the Blacksmiths Arma continued to deliver lovely food.

Should of took more groceries/drinks with us. Well kept property well furnished and equipped Lovely log burner which was ready to start, slight problem as only 1 match which went out before lighting, gas lighter maybe easier? Enough wood and coal supplied for 2/3 days which was good Great views from hot tub Would definitely stay there again when going to area
