We had to take a kettle of hot water up stairs every day to wash as you only got a cupful of warm water out of tap also we noticed the heating only comes on in middle of night by accident we found this out as we had to take it in turns to sleep downstairs with dog . She is a rescue and gets frightened at the train noise we was okey with the trains . In the evening s it got a bit chilly but there was no heating I was not going to muck around with it as Iâm not familiar with this sort of thing so all in all it was not a good holiday one more thing about dog rules and regulations it dose need to be put on Sykes web site not wait until 3 days before you go on holiday. We would not have booked this property .sorry for this review but it all NEEDS to be addressed

The location is great. Perfect for our needs. The cottage is beautiful and very well decorated. We stayed Fri to Mon, and the trains were not an issue to us. In the dark, I wouldn't have liked to walk to the village of Belford as the pavement is not cleared or well maintained on the road. However, this didn't really impact us as we were too tired after our days out to be bothered with the pub. We will likely book again. Thanks

We had a brilliant stay even though it rained constantly but with the log burner we were more than happy to be inside. 15 min drive to the nearest beach for walking the dog. We will definitely be returning soon xxx 10/10
