The cottage is located in the pretty village of Acomb close to the River Tyne, with its own pub/restaurant, local farm shops, walking and cycle routes from the cottage. Stroll through countryside to the historic market town of Hexham where you can explore a range of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants, visit the Abbey, spend a day at the races, stroll along the riverbanks or picnic in the park. The World Heritage Site of Hadrian s Wall is only a 3 mile walk, at the edge of the Northumberland National Park and Roman Vindolanda is a great day out. Discover Aydon Castle and then the quaint shops and places to eat and drink amongst the ancient Roman garrison streets in Corbridge. This beautiful property adjoins the owner s home and has its own private entrance. You come into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where the underfloor heating warms your feet.
