Spend time in the Gertrude Jekyll Garden (0.5 mile). Discover England’s northernmost historic town, Berwick-upon-Tweed (13.6 miles), and Bamburgh Castle, beach and village are a must-visit (16.3 miles). Book a boat trip to the Farne Islands from Seahouses (19.5 miles) to see an array of seabird species, grey seal colonies and puffins in the season.
