Marsh Garth is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate the secure garden, especially those with dogs, and the property's proximity to both the countryside and the coast. The welcoming touches, such as treats for both guests and pets, contribute to the property's charm, although some guests noted minor issues with facilities and maintenance.
The property is consistently described as very clean, with only a few minor comments about specific areas that needed attention. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive experiences of guests.
The location is highly regarded for its quietness and proximity to both the Lake District National Park and local amenities. The secure garden and scenic views are frequently mentioned, although some guests noted the narrow road and parking as minor drawbacks.
Guests find the bungalow comfortable, with special mentions of the comfy beds and the warm, home-like feel of the property. The spaciousness and the secure garden for dogs also contribute to the comfort level.
The property is well-equipped, with guests appreciating the kitchen appliances and general maintenance. However, some guests reported minor issues such as a fluid toilet seat and the need for a hairdryer, which slightly affected the score.
The thoughtful gestures, such as the welcome tray with treats and provisions for dogs, are well-received. While these gifts are mentioned positively, it is important to note that such personal touches, although delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The village is home to a general store and two pubs as well as a railway station on the Cumbrian Coast Line. We have a very lovely holiday. Our giant baby also made good connection to his new friends, the cow families. The environment and property facilities are perfect. If the fence can be upgraded and improved to stronger type, the pet owners will be more comfortable and relaxed to let their pets to make new friends with the cows.
